Flo to Grow — Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of flotogrow.com (the Website), the Flo to Grow app (the App), and any services provided by Flo to Grow LLC (we, us, our), a limited liability company registered in Connecticut, USA, operated by Julia Banning.

By using the Website, App, or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

1. General

Who can use Flo to Grow

You must be 16 or older to use our services. Flo to Grow is designed for use by birthing people, their partners and support people, and perinatal care professionals. It is not intended for use by children.

Educational content — not medical advice

All content in the App and on the Website is provided for general education and informational purposes only. Julia Banning is a doula, not a medical professional, doctor, midwife, or lactation consultant. Nothing in the App or on the Website constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult your healthcare provider about your personal situation. If you have a health emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

Intellectual property

All content, tools, text, design, and software in the App and on the Website are the intellectual property of Flo to Grow LLC unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without written permission.

The Birth Map methodology and framework referenced in the App was developed by Dr Catherine Bell. It is used with acknowledgement and permission. All rights in that methodology remain with Dr Bell.

Your content

Any content you create within the App — including your Birth Map, reflections, and preferences — belongs to you. It is stored on your device only. We do not have access to it.

2. Doula and birth support services

What we offer

Flo to Grow offers in-person and remote doula support, birth preparation, and postpartum support services. These are provided by Julia Banning and may be delivered in person, online, or via the App.

Cancellation and refunds — services

  • Cancel or reschedule more than 7 days before your session: full refund

  • Cancel or reschedule 7 days to 72 hours before your session: 50% refund

  • Cancel or reschedule within 72 hours of your session: no refund unless a mutually agreeable alternative time can be found

Session fees are quoted in Australian Dollars unless otherwise stated. Doula and birth support services are provided in Australia. If you have questions about your booking, contact us at hello@flotogrow.com.

Limitation of liability — services

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flo to Grow is not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from the use of our services. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant service.

3. Flo to Grow App

What the App is

The Flo to Grow App is a birth and postpartum preparation tool for birthing people, partners, and perinatal care professionals. It includes tools for birth planning, decision support, contraction tracking, postpartum preparation, and related educational content.

In-app purchases and subscriptions

The App offers paid access via in-app purchase through Apple's App Store:

  • Birthing person access — 18-month one-time purchase

  • Flo to Grow Professional — annual subscription for care team members

All purchases are processed by Apple. Apple's terms of sale and refund policies apply. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds for App purchases. Refund requests must be made to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

Access is granted for a single user on your personal device. You may not share your access with others.

Data and privacy

All data you enter in the App — including your due date, birth preferences, health context, and Birth Map — is stored on your device only using standard local storage. We do not collect, store, or have access to this data on any server.

The only data shared with a third party is purchase verification, which is handled by RevenueCat solely to confirm your subscription status. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

If you use the profile share feature, your profile data (including any health context you have entered) is encoded into a shareable link. You control whether to share this link and with whom. We recommend only sharing with trusted people.

You can delete all your data at any time from the Profile section of the App.

Refunds — App

Refunds for in-app purchases are governed by Apple's refund policy. We are unable to issue refunds directly. Please contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What the App does not do

The App does not monitor your health, provide personalised medical recommendations, or connect you with healthcare providers. It does not replace the advice of your midwife, doctor, or other care provider. The content is educational only.

Availability

We aim to keep the App available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any loss arising from downtime or changes to the App.

4. Website

Use of the Website

You may use flotogrow.com for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission, or use the Website in any way that could harm others or violate applicable law.

Testimonials

Where you have provided a testimonial in any format, we may use it on the Website and social media channels.

5. General legal

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of NSW courts.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App or Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
