This Privacy Policy explains how Flo to Grow LLC (we, us, our), a limited liability company registered in Connecticut, USA, operated by Julia Banning, handles your personal information when you use the Flo to Grow app (App) or website flotogrow.com (Website).

We've written this in plain language because privacy policies should actually be readable.

The short version

The App is designed to keep your data on your device. We don't have a server collecting your birth plan or health information. The only third party involved is Apple's payment system. That's it.

What data the App collects and where it lives

Data you enter in the App

Everything you enter in the App — your due date, birth preferences, health context, Birth Map reflections, and profile — is stored on your device using standard local storage. It does not leave your device and is not transmitted to any server operated by us.

This includes sensitive information such as pregnancy loss history, health conditions, and identity context. None of this is accessible to us.

Purchase data

When you purchase access through the App, the transaction is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat — a third-party service — solely to verify your subscription status. RevenueCat receives a purchase receipt from Apple to confirm whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat does not receive your health data, Birth Map, or any other content you create in the App.

Profile share links

If you use the profile sharing feature, your profile data is encoded into a URL that you can share with a partner, doula, or midwife. This link contains the profile information you have entered, including any health context. You control whether to generate this link and who you share it with. Once shared, the person who receives the link can view your profile data in the App.

We recommend only sharing this link with people you trust.

No analytics, no advertising

The App does not use analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking. We do not track your behaviour in the App or share data with advertisers.

The Website

The flotogrow.com website is hosted on Squarespace. Squarespace may collect standard web analytics data such as IP addresses and page views as part of their hosting service. This is governed by Squarespace's privacy policy, available at squarespace.com/privacy.

If you contact us by email, we store your email address and any information you include in the message in order to respond to you.

How to delete your data

You can delete all data stored by the App at any time by going to Profile → Delete all my data within the App. This removes everything stored on your device by the App. It does not affect your Apple purchase record, which is managed by Apple.

Children

The App and Website are not intended for use by anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Your rights

Because we do not store your personal data on our servers, most standard data rights (access, erasure, portability) apply to data held on your own device, which you control directly.

If you have emailed us, you can request that we delete your email and correspondence by contacting us at hello@flotogrow.com.

Third parties we use

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will note them here with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
