Full-Spectrum Birth & Postpartum Doula Support

A steady presence, through preparation, birth, and the weeks that follow.

Jules is full-spectrum doula support for women who want to meet birth on their own terms, with clarity, autonomy, and trust in their body.

Birth and postpartum are not separate events. They are one continuous transition — physiological, emotional, neurological. This work supports the whole arc, not just the day itself.

My role is not to manage your birth or direct your decisions. It is to hold the space around you, calm, informed, present, so you can stay connected to yourself, your partner, and what your body is doing.

How I Work

  • Physiological birth and informed intervention, both, without ideology

  • Alongside your partner and your care providers, never around them

  • A small number of clients at any one time, so I can show up fully for each

This work is not for everyone. That is by design.

Offering

What's Included in Full-Spectrum Doula Support

Every offering is tailored, but these elements form the foundation, and the strength, of how I work.

Intentional Birth Preparation

2 × 90-minute sessions

These sessions go further than standard childbirth education.

Together we cover:

The beliefs, expectations, and fears you've named, and the ones you haven't

Staying grounded inside the intensity of labour

Decision-making without panic or pressure, using the Birth Map

Protecting your birth space — emotionally, practically, and relationally

Partner preparation focused on presence, not problem-solving

Setting up a meal train

This is not theory. It builds confidence by weaving knowledge, intuition, and lived experience into something you can carry into the room with you.

On-Call Labour & Birth Support

From 38 weeks

From 38 weeks until your baby is in your arms, I am on call.

In labour, I bring:

Continuous, grounded presence from established labour through birth

A calm room — focus, safety, steady pace

Practical support for physiological labour through movement, positioning, and rest

Hands-on comfort where it's welcomed

Communication support so your voice and your values stay central

Steadiness if the path changes and intervention becomes part of the story

I support home, birth centre, and hospital births, and I work alongside your care team, not against them.

Early Postpartum Integration Visit

Birth does not end when your baby arrives.

This visit holds space for:

Processing and integrating the birth itself

Settling the nervous system after the intensity

Early feeding and sleep, without pressure or agenda

The first quiet steps into motherhood

This is about landing, not performing.

Ongoing Support

Text support from booking through two weeks postpartum.

A line open for reassurance, reflection, and gentle guidance, so you are held through the whole arc, not just the day itself.

Extended Postpartum Care

Optional

Some families choose to keep the support going as they settle into early parenthood.

Extended care can include:

Additional in-home visits

Infant massage support

Feeding and adjustment support

Emotional integration and nervous-system care

Practical guidance as your rhythms evolve

Conversations about family dynamics — what's shifting, what's working

Normalising motherhood, in all its honest texture

Available by request, designed to deepen support where you most want it.

“Jules was the guiding light in my pregnancy. From the day my partner and I met her, we were inspired. The course of our pregnancy was lit up by her guidance and mentorship. I feel I am as empowered and educated as I am thanks to Jules and her support. Jules is connected and networked to the most inspiring birth workers and as a result we have built a community around us that we know will support us through parenthood. I couldn't recommend Jules more! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts” - Kayla

PRICING & AVAILABILITY

Full-Spectrum Birth & Postpartum Support is comprehensive and high-touch. The investment reflects what is actually held — the preparation, the on-call availability, and the continuity from booking through postpartum.

Most families come on board from around 20 weeks of pregnancy, and the support continues through birth and into the early postpartum. This isn't a series of appointments, it's an ongoing relationship across one of the most significant transitions of your life.

I work with a small number of families at any one time. That is what makes attentive, present, responsive care possible.
