Full-Spectrum Birth & Postpartum Doula Support
A steady, embodied presence through birth and the transition into motherhood.
Flo to Grow offers full-spectrum birth and postpartum doula support for women who want to meet birth consciously, with clarity, autonomy, and deep trust in their bodies.
Birth and postpartum are not separate events. They are one continuous physiological, emotional, and neurological transition. This offering is designed to support that whole experience.
My role is not to manage your birth or direct your choices. It is to offer calm, informed, embodied support, helping you stay connected to yourself while protecting the conditions that allow birth and early postpartum to unfold with integrity.
How I Work
I support physiological birth and informed intervention
I work alongside your partner and care providers
I take on a limited number of clients at a time to ensure depth, presence, and continuity of care
This offering may not be the right fit for everyone, and that is intentional.
Offering
What’s Included in Full-Spectrum Doula Support
Whilst all my offerings are flexible and tailored to your individual needs, these elements tend to form the foundation, and the stand-out strengths, of my support.
Intentional Birth Preparation (2 × 90-minute sessions)
These sessions move beyond standard childbirth education.
Together we explore:
Your beliefs, expectations, and fears, spoken and unspoken.
Staying grounded and embodied during labour intensity.
Decision-making without panic or pressure using the Birth Map.
Protecting your birth space (emotionally and practically) as well as setting boundaries.
Partner preparation focused on presence, not fixing.
Setting up a meal train.
This work builds confidence by integrating knowledge, intuition, and lived experience.
On-Call Labour & Birth Support (from 38 weeks)
From 38 weeks until birth, I am on call for you.
During labour and birth, I provide continuous, grounded support, including:
Arrival in established labour and remaining present through birth
Calm, steady presence that supports focus and safety in the room
Support for physiological labour through movement, positioning, pacing, and rest
Hands-on comfort and reassurance where welcomed
Support with communication so your voice and values remain central
Steady presence and emotional support if plans change or intervention becomes part of the birth
I support home, birth centre, and hospital births, and work alongside your care team to ensure you feel informed, supported, and held throughout the process.
Early Postpartum Integration Visit
Birth does not end when your baby arrives.
This visit supports:
Processing and integrating the birth experience.
Nervous-system settling after intensity.
Early feeding & sleep support without pressure or agenda.
Gentle guidance as you transition into motherhood.
This is about landing, not performing.
Ongoing Support
Text support from booking through two weeks postpartum.
Space for reassurance, reflection, and gentle guidance.
You are supported through the whole arc, not just the birth itself.
Extended Postpartum Care (Optional)
Some families choose to continue with additional postpartum support as they settle into early parenthood.
Extended postpartum care may include:
Additional in-home visits.
Infant massage support.
Feeding and adjustment support.
Emotional integration and nervous-system care.
Practical guidance as rhythms evolve.
Guidance on family dynamics.
Normalising motherhood and parenthood.
This extension is available by request and designed to deepen support where it feels most helpful.
“Jules was the guiding light in my pregnancy. From the day my partner and I met her, we were inspired. The course of our pregnancy was lit up by her guidance and mentorship. I feel I am as empowered and educated as I am thanks to Jules and her support. Jules is connected and networked to the most inspiring birth workers and as a result we have built a community around us that we know will support us through parenthood. I couldn't recommend Jules more! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts” - Kayla
